When I was a kid every Sunday was a park day. My parents would take me and my siblings to the main one in the city. We loved going and running all around. It was so much fun to see the bubbles blowing and the children playing. There were always people selling all sorts of goodies: delicious food, colourful lollies, stuffed toys, real fluffy bunnies... We used to go crazy with so many options! My dad would narrow them down for us; just to make it easier.
"Puppy or balloon?" he'd ask.
"Puppy, puppy, puppy, puppy" my siblings would reply. Four little voices squealing at the same time against mine -out of tune- saying "balloon".
That's how we got Jet and Dolly and...
"Wait a minute" I interrupted. "That couldn't happen every Sunday because otherwise you would have ended with more dogs in the house than snails in the garden..."
"Well, but that's another story, the one I'm telling you today is the reason why I love balloons."
That's my mum. She owns a vivid imagination and was born with a fascination for telling stories. Her love for balloons... I just think it's a birthday thing.
Anyway, happy mother's day mum! Here's a balloon for you. It comes with a puppy so you don't have to choose =)
I love you.
